Abstinence is the only 100 percent way to prevent STD transmission and unwanted pregnancy. Should high schools pass out condoms?? Or is this condoning deviant behavior??

  1. I believe that schools should not necessarily have condoms just laying in the bathrooms at schools, but I do think that they should be offered in the nurses office. The thing a lot of older people fail to realize is that teenagers are going to do it regardless. If that is the decision they have made, they will go through with it. Condom or no condom. I think it's better to just provide them with the option of taking one, if they want to take it and use it, they will.

  2. I totally agree with Bianca, usually by high school teens are participating in sexual activities. However, it is very important to promote abstinence among the youth. If students decide to have sex, it would be beneficial for health administrators to provide students with condoms, but also educate by counseling students individually about safe sex.

  3. I agree that condoms should be passed out in high schools. As a young mother myself it's important to be realistic with young people and abstinence is not realisitc. So the best thing to do is to teach safe sex and pass out the equipment or tools that are needed for safe sex.
